Creating a Saved Search
Saved Searches (aka Top Picks / Hot Sheets) allow you to display indexable lists of properties that meet search criteria preselected by you. These pages are dynamically updated to reflect the most current listings on the market. Display a Saved Search on a standalone page or encorporate then in one of the Optima Express shortcodes or widgets.
Saved Searches are an excellent way to improve SEO on your site by providing links to properties in your territory for search engines to index.
To build a Saved Search, start in your WordPress dash and access Optima Express > IDX Control Panel. Within the Control Panel, navigate to Listings > Saved Search Pages and click the Add a Saved Search button.
You can create a Saved Search based on basic criteria, advanced criteria or by manually entering Listing IDs. Please note that advanced search options are only available for the House/Condo property type.
Once you’ve entered your search criteria and saved, return to the Saved Search page. You’ll see the Saved Search you just created added to the list. The number next to the title is the Saved Search ID, which is used within manually entered shortcodes to display saved search results in Listing Galleries or Property Gallery Sliders.
You will also see a link to the right of your Saved Search title labeled Show. Click this link to be taken to the Saved Search page you just created.
